Since the Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on September 7 you may feel like you have been put through the wringer physically, emotionally and spiritually. You may have also experienced “fated” events, and your intuition may have become heightened. Today’s New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo brings 2025’s eclipse season to a close whilst catalysing powerful transformations.
On March 14 this year we had a Virgo Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, with one of its main takeaways being to let go of perfectionism and the need to control. Today’s eclipse underlines that message. Most of our eclipses from 2024-2027 will occur on the Pisces-Virgo axis, creating a push-pull dynamic between dreamy, intuitive Pisces and organised, strategic Virgo. The Pisces eclipses are occurring on the North Node, an astrological position which stimulates a desire for more of something, and the Virgo eclipses are occurring on the South Node, the position which facilitates surrender. Since September 7’s Pisces Eclipse you may have felt more in tune with the flow of life, embarking on exciting new projects or journeys “just because”. Nonetheless, in the few days before today’s eclipse you may have felt an increase in self-doubt and self-criticism. Remember that these negative voices have been brought to the surface so that you are able to release them, and continue with the projects that make your soul sing.
Reflect on what has arisen over the last couple of weeks that you are ready to let go of. This could be perfectionism, micro-managing yourself or others, or any other limiting belief or habit. However, don’t feel the need to micro-manage your spiritual growth! A lot of these changes and insights will occur organically. If anything, take time to rest (eclipse season can be exhausting) and have some time alone if you feel called to, to allow you to integrate all that has occurred.
